So how do you become part of the Pierce Athletics All Star Cheerleading Program?
Our All-Star Cheerleading program is part of the USASF. Our head coach has years of experience in competitive, high school and college cheerleading. Tryouts for competitive teams generally happen each spring, but athletes interested in joining throughout the year may set up a private assessment. Our competitive cheerleading program is offered to athletes 3-18 years old. Athletes are assessed on their motions, tumbling, stunting, dance and jump skills prior to team placement. Pierce Athletics offers a competitive schedule that includes both local and regional travel-teams. Our cheerleading teams practice 2-4 hours per week and are also required to take tumbling classes to supplement their cheerleading instruction.
