Tumbling Class Options Offered at Pierce Athletics

This class is designed for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. It focuses on introducing basic tumbling movements, improving motor skills, and building confidence in a fun and safe environment. With interactive activities like obstacle courses and playful games, Tiny Tumblers encourages coordination, balance, and early physical development while creating special bonding moments!

This class is perfect for athletes who are new to tumbling or looking to master the basics. Focused on foundational skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges, this class helps build strength, coordination, and confidence. With a supportive and encouraging environment, Beginner Tumbling sets the stage for future success in tumbling

Perfect for athletes ready to build on their foundational tumbling skills, this class focuses on improving strength, coordination, and technique. Particpants will be introduced to new progressions beyond their backbend kickovers and stand-ups and will work on mastering limbering skills like walkovers, limbers, and arabians.

This class focuses on flexibility, rigorous conditioning, and the progressive development of power tumbling skills, starting with flip-flops and advancing to connected flip-flop sequences. Participants must be able to independently execute forward and backward limbering skills, as well as a running round-off with consistent form and proper technique. Classes are organized based on each athlete’s skill level to ensure tailored instruction and growth.

This class emphasizes flexibility, advanced conditioning, and the progression of power tumbling skills, from individual aerial maneuvers to bounding, twisting, and double-rotating techniques. Athletes must demonstrate the ability to independently perform standing and running flip-flop series with consistent form, proper technique, and controlled speed. Classes are grouped by skill level to provide focused instruction and maximize progression.

Athletes will also work on cheerleading techniques such as jumps, jump conditioning, motions, tumbling with counts, and synchronized tumbling.
